Supreme Court to hear second Obamacare challenge

The Supreme Court hears a second major case targeting Barack Obama's healthcare law. The court will consider a challenge to tax subsidies critical to the measure's implementation. The case is set for a one-hour oral argument starting just after 10 a.m. Wednesday, with a ruling due by the end of June.

 

Deadline looms for states to respond in immigration suit

26 states have until Tuesday to submit court documents detailing why a preliminary injunction should not be lifted. The states action have halted Barack Obama's executive action on illegal immigration.

The injunction halted Obama's order Feb. 16 that could spare from deportation as many as 5 million people who are in the U.S. illegally. The 26-state coalition is arguing that Obama's executive action was unconstitutional.

 

Execution of Georgia woman postponed over "cloudy" drugs

The execution of a woman in Georgia has been postponed after officials said the drugs that were due to be used appeared "cloudy".

Kelly Gissendaner's execution had already been postponed once because of a snowstorm.

One of South America's most active volcanoes erupted again in southern Chile, spewing heavy smoke and lava as thousands evacuate. There are concerns that mudslides caused by melting snow could make things worse

 

NETANYAHU TO USE CONGRESS' BULLY PULPIT TO ASSAIL IRAN TALKS

Today's the day! Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu talks to Congress to warn of the danger of trusting Iran curb its nuclear ambitions, even as Barack Obama's negotiators continue talking with the Iranians Tuesday in hopes of closing a deal this month.

Netanyahu insists he is privy to emerging details of a potential agreement and is expected to lay out specific concerns in Tuesday's speech to a joint meeting of Congress.

 

Jihadi John recording emerges in which he denies being an extremist

A audio recording has emerged of Mohammed Emwazi - the Islamic State member who'd become known as Jihadi John - denying being an extremist.

The recording was made by the advocacy group CAGE after Emwazi was deported from Tanzania in 2009 amid fears he was trying to travel to Somalia to receive terrorism training.

Emwazi, whose identity was made public last week, has appeared in a series of Islamic State beheading videos.  In the recording he  describes an interview  with a British intelligence agent who questions Emwazi about the 2005 London terror attacks known as 7/7 and the US terror attacks of 9/11....

Crouch hired Rick as the Marketing Director for Trinity Broadcasting Network where Rick repositioned the TBN brand inside the cable industry – and played an important role in negotiating the early contracts to launch TBN on DirecTV, DISH, and the former PrimeStar DBS systems.  Rick resigned from TBN in September 1998 after receiving a dramatic call from God to fulltime ministry.
