Southeastern braces for more winter

Thousands of flights were canceled and government offices shut down in in the worry of more than half a foot of snow in the nation's capital, as a major winter storm slammed parts of the United States.

The National Weather Service said rain, sleet and snow expected from the Mexican border in Texas to southern New England.

US Ambassador to South Korea is attacked

Washington's to South Korea, Mark Lippert, underwent two-and-a half hours of surgery to his face, after he was slashed by a razor blade wielding Korean nationalist.

The ambassador suffered deep gashes to his face and wrist, but tweeted he was fine, after doctors stitched him up.

The attacker was arrested and identified as Kim Ki-Jong, a 55-year old who had previously tried to attack the Japanese ambassador to South Korea.

Nina-Maria Potts has more.

A select House of Representatives committee has issued a subpoena of emails from the newly revealed Hillary Clinton personal email account.

Earlier this week, the New York Times reported that Hillary Clinton did not have a government email account while Secretary of State but set up her own email account bringing into question National security.

Our Washington correspondent Priscilla Huff reports:

Boston Bombing trial hears from victims

At the trial of the Boston Marathon Bombing, the court has heard from
victims who lost limbs as a result of the explosions. The accused bomber's attorney told the court he did carry out the attack but that he was led astray by his late older brother.

FATE OF OBAMA HEALTH LAW SUBSIDIES RESTS WITH 2 JUSTICES

The Supreme Court argument over subsidies for Obamacare suggests that the Obama administration has two chances to attract one critical vote.

The justices will gather in private Friday to cast their votes in the case. The outcome after Wednesday's argument appears to be in the hands of two conservative justices - one who voted with the court's four liberals to uphold the law in 2012 and the other who joins the liberals more often, but who would have killed the whole thing three years ago.

US productivity falls at faster pace, labor costs rise

U.S. worker productivity was even weaker than first thought from October through December while labor costs rose at a faster rate.

Productivity declined at an annual rate of 2.2 percent in the fourth quarter, weaker than the 1.8 percent drop that was estimated a month ago, the Commerce Department said Thursday. Labor costs rose at a 4.1 percent rate, faster than the 2.7 percent increase first estimated.

Like David vs. Goliath, Rick Wiles is a citizen reporter who decided to take on the Big News Media. Starting with a $7,500 donation in May 1999 to launch the first radio program, Rick’s faith in God and steadfast determination has overseen the growth and development of TRUNEWS into an internationally recognized source of credible news and information in a world where nothing seems to make sense anymore. Rick’s professional career was in media marketing and advertising sales. Throughout his early years, God’s hand silently guided him to be in employed in the latest new media. While in his early 20’s, Rick’s first media job was with a new FM radio station in the days when AM was still king.

In 1980, he blazed a path as a pioneer in local cable television advertising when CNN and ESPN were new start-up channels on cable TV.  As a sales manager, he launched one of the first cable advertising interconnects in the nation.  He was hired in 1984 by the Christian Broadcasting Network as the first National Cable Marketing Manager for the new CBN Cable Network which later became the Family Channel.  In 1995, Paul F. Crouch hired Rick as the Marketing Director for Trinity Broadcasting Network where Rick repositioned the TBN brand inside the cable industry – and played an important role in negotiating the early contracts to launch TBN on DirecTV, DISH, and the former PrimeStar DBS systems.  Rick resigned from TBN in September 1998 after receiving a dramatic call from God to fulltime ministry.
