Russian
government hackers suspected of cyber attack on WH
The Washington Post says Russian government hackers attacked the
White House's computer networks in recent weeks.

Unnamed administration officials as saying that cyber security
teams contained the breach- but they will not say if data was compromised.

Islamic State group lines up and kills 30 Iraqi
men
An Iraqi
official says Islamic State militants lined up 30 Sunni men in a town west of
Baghdad and shot them dead.
The slayings took place on a main
street in the town of Hit.

Molten
lava flow threatens homes on Hawaii

Lava from a Hawaiian volcano has begun to destroy buildings.
 

Officials say dozens of homes lie on the route of the Lava flow
which has been moving since late June. 

Residents of the village of Pahoa (Puh-HOE-uh) have begun to
evacuate their homes. 

Darryl Oliveira says an  observation platform has been
created so residents can see if their properties are being affected..... (bite)


Obama Admin did
almost nothing to prevent ISIS - former officials
Former
key officials with the Obama administration are now publicly saying the White
House did almost nothing to prevent the rise of the Islamic State.

In a new
documentary set to air on America's public television stations, former
ambassadors and a former U.S. defense secretary are blunt about their
evaluation of President Obama's Iraq policy.

Nurse: I'm prepared to fight Maine quarantine
A nurse who
was confined against her will at a New Jersey hospital after returning from
treating Ebola patients in West Africa where she patients said that she's
prepared to go to court if Maine tries to quarantine her.

Kaci Hickox
spoke to NBC's "Today" and ABC's "Good Morning America".
She said she has so far abided by
the state's voluntary quarantine. She had no contact with anyone Tuesday and
will have no human contact again Wednesday.

ROCKET EXPLOSION BLOW TO ASTEROID MINING PROJECT

Workers are sifting through rubble of a
rocket carrying food and supplies to the International Space Station exploded
just a few seconds after take-off from a launch site.
The Antares rocket was also carrying a small
commercial satellite.
