Next week will be a significant one for celestial events, with a total lunar eclipse, a meteor shower and the brightening of a planet all expected on Oct. 8, according to the Taipei Astronomical Museum.
The Draconid meteor shower — which radiates from the constellation Draco in the northern sky — will reach its peak late on the night of Oct. 8, producing up to 10 shooting stars per hour, the museum said.
