Obama appeals for calm after Grand Jury decides no charges over Brown killing
No charges are to be filed against the American police officer who killed an unarmed black teenager in the St. Louis suburb of Ferguson earlier this year. The family of Michael Brown say they are "profoundly disappointed" that Officer Darren Wilson will not now go on trial. President Obama is appealed for calm in light of the announcement.

Authorities in Ferguson, Missouri are assessing the damage after violence rocked the St. Louis suburb overnight following a grand jury's decision in the Michael Brown shooting case. Violence erupted almost immediately after the decision was announced. Mary McCarthy is there and obviously shaken.
Obama seeks new defense chief after Hagel ouster
US President Barack Obama is looking for a new Secretary of Defense following the surprise announcement that Chuck Hagel is leaving his administration. Was he fired or did he quit?! That depends on who you ask. Mr. Obama says Mr. Hagel, a former Republican Senator, took the decision to resign….but there are many reports in Washington indicating that the White House pressured him to leave. President Obama is said to be unhappy with the way Mr. Hagel handled the US-led battle against Islamic State, and the Pentagon's response to Ebola in West Africa. Tom Pickering, a former US Ambassador to the United Nations says Mr. Hagel's departure from the government comes just two years after he secured the top job at the Pentagon.
Signs of Kobani ISIS fighters in Syria growing desperate as news tells of advancing forces of Kurdish fighters seizing vital buildings used by ISIS and capturing a large number of weapons and ammunition. a Kurdish official in Kobani, also claimed that Kurds had made "big progress in the east and southeast" of Kobani, and the ISIS control of the town has been reduced to less than 20 percent.
Symantec discovers new computer spying bug
California anti-virus firm Symantec has found a new advanced malware software application. It says that since 2008, "Regin" has been used to spy on private companies, government and research institutes in 10 countries. It was withdrawn in 2011 but resurfaced last year. Rebecca Bowring reports.
For the first time in more than a decade Barbie has been frozen out of the top spot on the holiday wish lists of girls. The new reigning champion in the hearts of little girls is Team Elsa. The megahit "Frozen" has earned Disney more than a billion at the box office worldwide and the gravitational pull of the animated film has now plucked Barbie from the throne she that she has occupied for 11 years, according to a survey by the National Retail Federation.

Crouch hired Rick as the Marketing Director for Trinity Broadcasting Network where Rick repositioned the TBN brand inside the cable industry – and played an important role in negotiating the early contracts to launch TBN on DirecTV, DISH, and the former PrimeStar DBS systems. Rick resigned from TBN in September 1998 after receiving a dramatic call from God to fulltime ministry.
