Alabama official ordered to issue marriage licenses to gay couples
A federal judge on ordered Mobile County Alabama to comply with the ruling to start issuing marriage licenses to gay couples, while advocates said couples in most counties were still unable to obtain licenses.
U.S. District Judge Callie Granade's order clarified that Mobile County Probate Court Judge Don Davis should follow her directive despite a contravening order from Alabama Supreme Court Justice Roy Moore that led many state judges to refrain from issuing marriage licenses to gay couples.
UN chief warns Yemen "collapsing before our eyes"
The United Nations has warned that Yemen is "collapsing" and now on the "brink of civil war".
The country has been struggling to battle al-Qaeda militants after rebels seized the capital Sanaa and forced the dissolution of Parliament.

Shelling in Ukraine a day after ceasefire agreed
Renewed shelling has been reported in Ukraine's Eastern cities, just a day after a peace deal was agreed to by Russia and the Ukraine in Minsk.
The cities of Donetsk and Luhansk have been under fire, though there are no reports of casualties.
A ceasefire is expected to be observed after midnight local-time on Saturday, with the EU warning of further sanctions against Russia if pro-Russian rebels in the East of Ukraine do not respect the deal.
But Chris Hutchins, Vladimir Putin's biographer, in scathing comments about the Russian regime says he doubts Moscow is listening....
Boko Haram attacks village in Chad as revolt spreads
Boko Haram fighters attacked a village in Chad on Friday, the first known lethal attack in that country by the Nigerian militant group, which killed several people including a local chief according to residents and security forces.
Dozens of militants arrived by motorized canoe at the fishing village on the shores of Lake Chad early in the morning, setting houses ablaze and attacking a police station.
Erdogan slams Obama for silence over the deaths of three Muslims
U.S.- Turkish relations have taken a turn for the worse, after Barack Obama was criticized by his Turkish counterpart for his silence over the murder of three young Muslims in North Carolina.
Turkish President Recep Tayip Erdogan warned President Obama that if he failed to take a stand, the world would turn its back on him.

EU leaders consider stronger border checks for passport-less Schengen zone
The European Union is considering imposing more stringent checks at for travelers into the passport-free zone known as the Schengen area.
Leaders from the 28 EU member states have called for tighter measures over terror fears following the attacks in Paris last month.

Crouch hired Rick as the Marketing Director for Trinity Broadcasting Network where Rick repositioned the TBN brand inside the cable industry – and played an important role in negotiating the early contracts to launch TBN on DirecTV, DISH, and the former PrimeStar DBS systems. Rick resigned from TBN in September 1998 after receiving a dramatic call from God to fulltime ministry.
