Teen infected by 'superbug' struggling to survive
An 18-year-old student is struggling to survive after he was infected by a "superbug" outbreak tied to contaminated medical instruments at a Los Angeles hospital, his attorney said.
The young man has spent nearly three months in the hospital after contracting an antibiotic-resistant strain of bacteria at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center.
Nearly 180 people may have been exposed to the superbug.
The bacteria may have been a “contributing factor” in the deaths of two patients and seven other patients are undergoing treatment.

Poroshenko says evidence shows Kremlin aide directed snipers in Kiev
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko said that police have evidence showing that top Russian presidential aide, Vladislav Surkov, had directed "foreign sniper groups" who shot and killed protesters in Kiev a year ago.
Meanwhile, separatist rebels fired on Ukrainian positions nearly 50 times in the past 24 hours and Russia is sending more tanks into Ukraine despite a cease-fire that was supposed to take effect five days ago.
Bombs kill 40 in Libya in apparent revenge for Egyptian air strikes
Three car bombs ripped through an eastern Libyan city, killing 40 people and wounding 70 in what officials described as a revenge attack for Egyptian air strikes on Islamist terrorist targets.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility. But the bombs appeared to have been in retaliation for Egyptian air raids on nearby Derna, an Islamist hotspot.
Crucial Greece bail-out talks
Worried depositors rush to pull cash out of Greek banks, while crucial last-ditch talks are underway in Brussels between EU finance ministers to try to solve the crisis over Greece's bail-out deal…
Greece wants a six-month bridging loan to allow it to further negotiate a more long-term plan - but that proposal has already been rejected by Germany.
The existing bailout deal expires at the end of February - with Greece on the brink of running out of money.

World Health Organization approves 1st quick test for Ebola
The World Health Organization has approved a quick test for Ebola that will dramatically cut the time it takes to determine whether someone is infected with the deadly virus.
The Rapid Test Kit, can provide results within 15 minutes by detecting an Ebola protein. In trials it correctly identified 92 percent of the patients with Ebola and 85 percent of those not infected
Obama Announces Digital Counter-Terrorism Hub
The United States is establishing a digital hub in the United Arab Emirates to counter online terrorist propaganda.
President Barack Obama invited other nations attending a terrorism summit in Washington to contribute.

Crouch hired Rick as the Marketing Director for Trinity Broadcasting Network where Rick repositioned the TBN brand inside the cable industry – and played an important role in negotiating the early contracts to launch TBN on DirecTV, DISH, and the former PrimeStar DBS systems. Rick resigned from TBN in September 1998 after receiving a dramatic call from God to fulltime ministry.
